POLL: What storyline would YOU like me to continue?

Standard

Hi All..

First, a great big honking THANK YOU to everyone who has been reading Tale Spinning. That includes those who comment, subscribe (wish you would too), and reader lurkers. I have been playing with a lot of different genres, some styles, and the feedback I’ve been getting has been amazing, and humbling, and really groovy and cool! 🙂

I have heard from a lot of you, in the comments or on FB/Twitter, that you want me to take some of these stories further. I will. I’ve created a Poll to see which story lines YOU’D like to see more of. Some I did not include because, honestly, they were one-and-done shorts. Some I like better than others, but…while I am writing for myself, I also want to appease any of my (I hope you don’t mind my calling you this)  fan base.  And, of course, entice new readers. I will put links to all the stories after the poll, and you’ll also be able to find them on the side of the posts, under the blog roll, awards and the whatevers.

Work In Progress (No Title),              Look at…/Epigamic,                  Thou Premonished…,

The Spenetic Tango                  Bushwhacked

Little Animal,                   Night Abduction                  Beware of Falling Cows

Redhead Story                   Birdsong

Again, thank you one and all. I’ll keep this poll going for about a week (until June 4th) to see what results I get.
If you are enjoying my work, please let others know. I would more than appreciate it.

    • Hi Jessica: I most likely will continue most of them, at some point. I’m looking to see what works for the reading audience. This is almost like a “test screening” for me, and the only reason I’m doing this now is that with the summer coming up, I’ll have TOO much time on my hands. Better to use it working on a project people want to read. The one I’m surprised I’m not getting more hits on is the Hundred Handed, as I have wanted to return to that as well. I will, but I can put it on the side.
      Thank you.

  1. Well I’m going with the redhead but I was looking for the Dick and Jane continuation – why can’t I see that in the poll or did I miss something? bearing in mind its very very very very early in the morning so if its blazingly obvious please don’t tell me until tomorrow 🙂

    • Hi SJ..I didn’t include it in the list, with some others. I felt if someone wanted that one continued, they’d write it in (same with Hit the floor). Not sure if I had anything else to say about it.

Have a good sleep. And thanks.

  2. I took a swing on your poll daddy and I have to say I am new to your stories so I need to catch up but, I enjoyed the Redhead one so that was my choice.

  3. There is something I think you should check out. It is a story writing site called simply “Story Write.” (That is what you put into the search box). It has both a free membership and a really reasonably priced paid membership. It has a lot of advantages. You can make stories with really nice backgrounds, add music, add photos–amazing! I have been on that site for awhile now and I am pleased with it for a number of reasons. (1) It is also a good social site where you can make some really nice friends, (2) The other members provide critiques on what you write, (3) There are some professionals that watch the site and one could actually end up with a publishing deal. I have used it mostly for relaxation, personally. I have no current stories posted because my membrship is about up and the blog is taking a lot of my time now. But for someone who really enjoys writing, this should be looked at anyways.
